The joy, strength, and power of the Holy Spirit led me to pronounce my Vow as a Franciscan Handmaid of Mary on August 15, 2009.
After spending two years of Novitiate with the Franciscan Handmaids of Mary, I have learned about the lives of St. Francis and St. Clare, as well as the history of the Congregation, through my Vocation Director, Sister Marie Goretti.
I attended the Noviate Program in Mariandale, NY, from 2007 to 2008 and the Common Francis Novitiate in Joliet, Illinois, for my Canonical year from 2008 to 2009.
The information I learned in these two programs has enriched and enhanced my spirituality, helping me to serve the people of God with love and zeal, just as Mary did.
